Engaged Students
Life at Union Public Schools is more than just homework. Union believes a successful student is an engaged student and the district provides a wide variety of activities. More than 14,000 Union students are involved in some form of the arts and more than 1,600 students are involved in Union’s athletics and spirit programs. Learn more about Union's activities.

STEM
Science, Technology, Engineering & Math

Early Childhood Education
Union Public Schools believes in the importance of early childhood education. Its mission is simple: to enhance the development of very young children and promote healthy families. A key part of the mission is the Rosa Parks Early Childhood Education Center

Excellent Staff & Benefits
More than 90 percent of the district's administrators hold a master's degree or higher. Of the teaching and administrative staff, more than 40 percent hold graduate-level degrees – with more than 400 holding master’s degrees and 19 with doctorates. Learn more about our teachers.

Union's fall break camp for Union students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade will be October 17-18 at Jefferson Elementary, 8418 S. 107 E. Ave., Monday through Friday, from 6:45 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The Union PTA Council plans to promote civics this fall by bringing back the Redhawks Vote campaign – timely considering there is a presidential election this fall.

As Union works to reduce chronic absenteeism among students, we encourage parents to watch this important video from Attendance Works.
Union Public Schools uses the Safe Schools Alert system for students, staff and parents to report bullying, safety concerns and threats anonymously to Union administration and security officials.

Union Alternative School Principal Chris Ducker will be conducting a forum for students in grades 9-12 who have applied or who wish to apply to the Alternative School at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23.

Union Public Schools is proud to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month and the contributions of all Hispanic and Latinx cultures.
Thanks to a partnership with Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology, Union High School's construction program now includes classes in electrical construction and air conditioning and refrigeration.
