Self Esteem & Life-Long Learners
Through the collaboration of community, school and family, all children will develop self-esteem and become life-long learners and successful citizens.
Union Public Schools is committed to providing comprehensive educational services to all students – including students with disabilities. About 1,500 Union students on average have some type of disability which requires attention.
Union makes every effort to contact, evaluate and educate all children suspected of having a disability, ages 3 through 21, under the provisions established by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 1997 (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Union strictly adheres to the policies and procedures set forth under IDEA, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the State Department of Education, and the District Special Education Policy/Procedure Manual to ensure that all students receive a free, appropriate public education.
The Union Public School District provides specialized instruction and related services to students who qualify for public school services in the following areas:

We are introducing the EdPlan Connect Parent Portal. This EdPlan Connect Parent Portal allows access to your child’s IEP or 504 Plan documents, services, and teacher of record information.
The links below will provide information and instructions for accessing the EDPlan Connect Parent Portal.
EdPlan Connect requires an active email address in order for you to receive an email notification that will include a link to EDPlan Connect. Updates to email addresses can be completed at the Enrollment Center or at your child’s school site.
