Congratulations to Union alum Destiny Elmore, Class of 2014, who is serving as Ms. Black Oklahoma USA 2026!

"I currently have the honor of serving as Ms. Black Oklahoma USA 2026, and this August, I will be representing the state of Oklahoma on the national stage as I compete for the title of Ms. Black USA," Elmore said.

"Since graduating from Union, my journey has led me to become an artist, author, community advocate, and founder of Halo of Art, an organization dedicated to empowering children through creativity and confidence. Through my platform, I have been able to use art and service to make an impact in my community, and I am grateful for the foundation that helped shape me during my time at Union," she said.

"It (means) so much to celebrate this milestone with the school community that was part of my journey from the beginning, and I hope my story can inspire current students to dream big and pursue their passions," she said.
