Congratulations to the Finance Division at Union Public Schools, which has once again earned a Meritorious Budget Award (MBA), for excellence in the preparation and issuance of its budget for fiscal year 2024-2025.
The honor is the seventh year in a row that Union’s Finance Division has achieved this honor, including its honor for its Pathway to the Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) for the 2018–2019 budget year.
Since then, Union has continued to earn the Meritorious Budget Award for its budget presentations each year. The honor is bestowed by the Association of Schools Business Officials International (ASBO), and reflects the district’s “commitment to sound fiscal management and budgetary policies.”
(Note: Union Public Schools was the only school district in Oklahoma to be honored with an MBA in 2023 and 2024.)
