Based on the 1997 animated film of the same name, the musical adapts the legend of the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia, who was rumored to have escaped and survived the execution of her family.

The musical is directed by teacher Erika McGhee.

"Anastasia is a show about loss, faith, and ultimately, love. From 1906 Russia to 1927 Paris, we journey with Anya as she uncovers her hidden past and embraces an uncertain future. Anastasia teaches us to discover who we are and define who we’re meant to be," McGhee said.  "It serves as a reminder that we have the power to shape our own path in life. You won’t want to miss this beautifully crafted, amazingly executed theatrical experience."
