Perhaps you have seen the social media posts or posters about lame excuses for not attending school. The campaign is part of Union Public Schools’ efforts to reduce truancy and engage students so that they attend school.
Union Public Schools will host an employee health and wellness fair from noon to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2 at the UMAC.
The Caring Center (Clothing Closet) is seeking donations of pants, shorts and new underwear during the month of September.
What can $10 do? Imagine if every Union parent donated at least $10 for every student they have enrolled at Union - that $10 would make a huge impact district-wide. Union Schools Education Foundation is continuing #10ForU - a fundraising campaign created to show how small acts of kindness can collectively make a meaningful difference.
Union Public Schools will dismiss school 40 minutes early on Friday, September 6 to allow teachers additional collaboration time.
Union's Native American program will conduct public meetings concerning Indian student programs on Tuesday, September 10 at the Union Public Schools Education Service Center, 8506 E. 61st Street. Meetings start at 6 p.m.
Union Public Schools, in a new workforce development partnership with OSU Institute of Technology and Hardesty Family Foundation, is expanding its construction academy for high school students to include coursework on electrical construction and air conditioning/refrigeration.
This meeting is a required workshop for presidents and treasurers of all organizations who are requesting to be sanctioned or are sanctioned to operate outside of the school activity funds.
