Extended Day Program

The Union Extended Day Program (EDP) was created to provide safe, alternative educational child care, enhancing the child’s extended day for students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through seventh grade. Recognizing the busy lifestyles of today’s family, the district attempts to work in partnership with home and parents by providing before and after school supervision at the school site. Plus, it's a lot of fun!

2018 Fall Break Camp Information

The Union Extended Day Program will host a fall break camp October 17-19 at Jefferson Elementary School, 8418 S. 107th E. Ave., for students currently enrolled at Union Public Schools pre-kindergarten to fifth grade. This year's theme is Picnics, Pumpkins and Parks, Oh My! Enrollment deadline is 5 p.m., October 9. Resources

Children participating in the EDP program are provided the opportunity for activities and quiet time. Afternoon sessions include a snack and a short period of free time before a study hall and other structured activity. The Union Extended Day Program is an extension of the school day and has priority for use of the indoor and outdoor facilities from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Only children enrolled at a Union school, grades prekindergarten through seventh grade, may participate in the program. A child may enroll in the before-school session, the after-school session, or both. Enrollment forms are available from the Education Service Center or school sites. Forms must be completed in full in order to ensure proper care of each child.

Fees must be paid monthly. New enrollment during the school year must be taken to the Education Service Center. Enrollments require the first month’s tuition paid in advance. A $25 registration fee is required.

Union Public Schools is excited to offer online payments for non-child nutrition activities. We are launching InTouch Receipting software on a limited basis for some district wide services with the expansion to school based activities at a later date.
