Union Has a Place For YOU!
Union Public Schools is back with renewed energy. The pandemic took us all by surprise, but we soldiered through. We persevered.
Safely in School
Union safely conducted in-person school during the 2020-21 school year. Union successfully held in-person school for 16 weeks for elementary students; and 15 weeks for secondary students during the Fall of 2020. In Spring 2021, with 75 percent of students in-person, we had minimal disruptions. In a survey, 70 percent of Union staff said they intend to get vaccinated.
Union has proven that safe school is possible. Now that vaccines are available for those 16 and older, the school environment is even safer.
Union Has You Covered!
• Early Childhood program for 3-year-olds
• Pre-K and Kindergarten – full-day program
• Safe in-person learning
• Union Virtual learning for K-12th
• EDGE: Earn a Degree, Graduate Early eligible high school students can earn an associate degree at no cost
• Extracurricular activities
• An education that is second to none, as featured in The New York Times and Wall Street Journal. In 2014, Union was recognized as an early adopter of virtual learning by the White House.

Oklahoma SB783/
Education Open Transfer Act
Due to the recent passage of SB783 regarding Open Transfers, we are getting many questions from parents outside the district about transferring their students to Union Public Schools. The new law does not go into effect until Jan. 1, 2022. There are many requirements mandated by the law, which requires the State Department of Education to write new rules and for local school boards to create new board policies, so we are unable to respond to these requests at this time.
