Union Athletics is proud to announce Derek Evans as Head Coach of the Redhawks Fast-Pitch Softball program. Coach Evans is well known in the softball community for building and developing players and is respected for his extensive knowledge of the sport. His enthusiasm for growing the sport of softball at Union is unmatched.
Coach Evans played HS baseball at Tulsa Rogers then continued at Hutchinson Community College. He served as an assistant baseball coach at Booker T. Washington HS from 2009-2014 as well as coached competitive softball teams since 2003.
