Elementary Mathematics
Union Public Schools is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive math education, emphasizing conceptual understanding through hands-on experiences and a progression from concrete to abstract learning. Our approach includes daily fluency routines, problem-solving tasks, and a curriculum covering essential components such as number sense, algebraic reasoning, geometry, measurement, data analysis, and formative assessment. By fostering a deep mathematical foundation and encouraging real-world applications, we strive to empower students to excel in both academic and practical contexts, ultimately preparing them for future success in college and careers.

These handy, printable flyers include helpful information aligned to the Oklahoma Academic Standards (what students know and should be able to do in each grade and course) and guidance on how to support student learning at home.
Guides are available for Pre-K through 6th-grade students in the following subjects: English language arts, science, mathematics, social studies, health, music, physical education (PE) and visual art. The information in the guides is a snapshot of learning in each of these grades and school subjects.
