Instructional Services
Union Public Schools uses instructional practices that have been researched and proven to produce results in student learning. It is the mission of Instructional Services to support teachers in utilizing curriculum and instructional practices that will challenge and support all learners in an engaging atmosphere in order to maximize student achievement.
Instructional Services oversees professional learning, district teacher training, College & Career Center, Union Career Connect, EDGE, Leadership Union, Teacher of Year selection, Career Tech/Carl Perkins programs and the summer leadership retreat for Union administrators.

District teacher trainers coordinate specific areas of the curriculum including English Language arts, English Learners, math, science, social studies and STEM. Each area has a section of web pages devoted to these disciplines under Instruction.
