Enrichment Learning
Union Public Schools offers students a number of learning opportunities outside of the traditional classroom experience to enrich educational experiences.
In addition to gifted and talented programs for students on the elementary level, Union offers programs for Native American students, afterschool programs across the district, as well as programs throughout the school year such as the Child Nutrition Farm To School program to provide a more, well-rounded learning environment.
The College & Career Center, based in the High School also coordinates a number of programs on the secondary level to provide educational experiences from internships to special speakers. Each fall, College and Careers also coordinates Beyond U - an all-day event featuring a special speaker and a field trip to Oklahoma State University's Tulsa campus where seniors can learn about class opportunities after school.
Feel free to talk with your teachers and principals about programs that will pique interest in your students.
