5506 Admission of Part-Time Students

It is the policy of the Union Public School District that all students enrolling in the district must do so on a full-time basis. Full-time basis is defined as attending classes each day of the week for the full instructional day within the public school system or in conjunction with another state-accredited institution such as a vocational-technical school or concurrently enrolled in a college or university or Union’s Virtual Learning Academy. The only exceptions to this policy shall be students who meet the requirements of homebound or homebased education, Credit Recovery, or students with disabilities whose Individual Education Plans require alternative class schedules.
