4110 Calendar Changes Due to Extraordinary Circumstances

A schedule of district-paid holidays applicable to support, support associate, and administrator employee groups shall be maintained by the Human Resources Department. The Superintendent or designee may, due to

extraordinary circumstances such as (but not limited to) extended periods of impassable roads, extreme weather, electrical or water outages, etc., determine one or more additional, non-recurring paid holidays.

For certified employees, the Board-adopted school calendar shall indicate days off during holiday periods and for other designated purposes. The Superintendent or designee may make changes to the school calendar due to extraordinary circumstances including, but not limited to, those listed above.
