4099 Hiring and Resignations
Employees desiring to resign shall give their immediate supervisors written notice at least two weeks prior to the effective date of resignation. Resignations are effective as of the last day an employee physically works. Neither personal days, vacation days, nor sick days can be used to extend a resignation date. Certified employees must provide written notice of their intent not to be re-employed for the following school year no later than 15 days after the first Monday in June. If not notified, it is the right of the district not to release an employee from his/her contract for the next school year.
Before the first Monday in June, the district will notify any affected certified employee of the non-renewal of his/her contract for the following school year.
