4022 Tobacco-Free Schools (Employees)
Employees will fully comply with Board Policy #1500 regarding tobacco-free schools.
Specifically, at district facilities and on district property, employees of the district are prohibited from using tobacco or tobacco products, including smokeless tobacco and vapor products/e-cigarettes (as defined in Board Policy #1500), 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Employees of the district will not be permitted to use in public, or in view of the students, tobacco or tobacco products, including smokeless tobacco and vapor products/e-cigarettes (as defined in Board Policy #1500), while they are participants in any class or activity in which they represent the district.
Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
