Looping

Looping is the practice of a group of students staying with the same teacher for more than one year. All students are at the same grade level.

Under this program, children collaborate and form stable relationships with their teacher and classmates over the course of their two-year journey. The relationship also allows the teacher and students to quickly move onto new subjects during the second year without having to go through a new introduction process.

In addition, looping promotes strong bonds and relationships with the parents and teachers, by allowing more time for the relationship.

Contact your school principal to determine if looping is offered at your school site.
