Union Public Schools uses instructional practices that have been researched and proven to produce results in student learning. It is the mission of Instructional Services to support teachers in utilizing curriculum and instructional practices that will challenge and support all learners in an engaging atmosphere in order to maximize student achievement.
Instructional Services oversees professional learning, district teacher training, College & Career Center, Union Career Connect, Early College High School, Leadership Union, Teacher of Year selection, Career Tech/Carl Perkins programs and the Union Leadership Retreat for administrators. The Career Pathways Coach in College & Career Center is funded by a Carl Perkins grant.
