Union

Union Public Schools partners with the National Center for Community Schools and the Coalition for Community Schools. Community Schools are public schools that partner with stakeholders (parents, teachers, community members, business leaders) to create the conditions for students to thrive.

Boevers’ Community Schools approach to equalize the educational playing field for all our students is through a 4-pronged approach, providing layered supports for children and families:

  • Integrated Student Supports
  • Family/Community Engagement Practices
  • Expanded Learning Time
  • Collaborative Leadership Practices

See Community Schools for district information.
