Fraz Javed, a rising senior from Union High School, was selected as one of four Oklahoma students to be a 2021 Bank of America Student Leader this summer.
Nearly 300 students are selected nationwide, and Fraz is one of four students in Oklahoma selected for the program. Fraz is among the best and brightest Tulsa has to offer, and we’re excited to see all the students’ contributions to their community in the future. This summer, Student Leaders will build critical skills and network with like-minded peers at the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma.
Since 2004, the program has helped young people gain work experience, broaden their perspective on how nonprofits serve community needs, and advance their civic engagement. Student Leaders from across the country also develop better money habits by working with bank volunteers to increase their financial management skills, from building a budget to creating a savings plan.
