Class of 2020: Your Story Will Be about Hope

When future generations learn about the Great Quarantine of 2020, you will always have a story to tell.

Your story might have been about your disappointment in missing senior prom and having a virtual graduation.

It could have been about your frustration with distance learning and how stressed and unprepared you felt.

But it won’t be.

Your story will be about hope, resilience and beauty in a time of global uncertainty.

Math principles translate into life's lessons

Of all the applications we’ve explored in calculus, perhaps the most important is the idea of the integral as a means for accumulating change.

We use infinitesimally small pieces to calculate the whole. Inch-by inch we get closer to the full picture, but we need every little slice to understand the grand view.

Tulsa World editorial: The Class of 2020 gets some pomp, albeit modified for COVID-19 circumstances

The Class of 2020 gets some pomp, albeit modified for COVID-19 circumstances

We salute the graduates for the perseverance they’ve shown in 2020, and the districts’ leaders for the imagination they have shown throughout the troubled year, including its ceremonial conclusions.

The Class of 2020 — the unrivaled champions of senior skip day — made its mark and will not soon be forgotten.
