Welcome to the Union Multipurpose Activity Center

The Union Multipurpose Activity Center, 6836 S. Mingo Road, is a mid-sized venue and includes a 5,600-seat multi-use arena, versatile floor space, a spirit store, locker and dressing rooms, concessions, offices and a wellness center managed by the YMCA.

The UMAC was designed to easily accommodate conventions, trade shows, sporting events, conference and performances as well as meet the needs of our students and patrons. It is located in the heart of south Tulsa, visitors are only minutes away from three major highways, retail shops, restaurants and hotels.

The facility, which opened its doors in November 2003, totals more than 150,000 square feet and includes:

Tickets 

Tickets for certain events at the UMAC and other venues such as the Union Performing Arts Center may be handled differently. If special instructions for tickets are necessary, they will be posted.

Parking

Parking is provided for patrons of the UMAC. southwest of the center, allowing Union to accomodate parking for both the UMAC and Union High School while school is in session. The parking has been designed to provide area residents easier access to the U-Wear Spirit Store, located on the west side of the Center, and to the Wellness Center, located on the northeast side, without disturbing class.

Staff assistance

District operations staffs provide event service assistance as required for each event type. The staff  works cooperatively and jointly with other district departments in order to provide optimal services to the District and patrons, as well as the community.

Hotels

The UMAC, along with Union’s Performing Arts Center, is host to various district and community events that draw large audiences and participants to the south Tulsa area.  The John Q. Hammons Arena holds more than 5,000 spectators, the Union Performing Arts Center has almost 2,000 seats, and of course, Tuttle Football Stadium will hold more than 10,000 fans.

Driving Directions

The UMAC, 6836 S. Mingo Road, is located on the south side of Union Tuttle Stadium on the Union High School complex. The UMAC is located on Mingo between 61st and 71st Streets on the west side of the roadway. Parking is located on the west and north sides of the building.

• From Hwy 169 North – Take Hwy 169 N and exit 71st Street. Turn left at the light onto 71st Street and turn right at Mingo Road. Turn left at the UMAC.
• From Hwy 169 South – Take Hwy 169 S and exit 61st Street. Turn right at light onto 61st Street. Take a left at Mingo Road and turn right at the UMAC.
• From Hwy 51 East (Broken Arrow Expressway) – Take Hwy 51 east. Merge onto Highway 169 South and exit 61st Street. Turn right at light onto 61st Street. Take a left at Mingo Road and turn right at the UMAC.
• From Hwy 51 West (Broken Arrow Expressway) - Take Hwy 51 west. Merge onto Highway 169 South and exit 61st Street. Turn right at light onto 61st Street. Take a left at Mingo Road and turn right at the UMAC.
