Frequently Asked Questions

When will changes take effect?

All benefit changes will go into effect January 1, 2023. Your first benefit deduction reflecting the new rates will occur on December 9, 2022. The first deduction for the Medical FSA & Dependent Care FSA will occur on January 10, 2023.

When will I receive my new cards?

You should receive your cards prior to January 2023.
If I do nothing and have dependent care or medical flexible spending accounts what will happen?
These plans will naturally end as of December 31, 2022 if no new election is made for 2023.

Will I receive a new FSA card?
Not unless your current card is expiring. Any cards that are not expired will be re-loaded as long as you have made a new election for 2023.
Did the costs change this plan year?
Medical and Dental premiums did increase this year. Please refer to the benefit documents above for more details.

Will I receive a card for my dental or vision insurance?

No, there are no ID cards for these plans. Just let your dentist’s office know that you have Delta Dental of OK and your eye doctor know that you have VSP.

What is my ID number for dental and vision insurance?

The dental plan ID number is the member’s SSN (Social Security Number). The Vision plan ID number is the policy holder's SSN.

How do I know what I am currently enrolled in?

Look for your Personal Benefits Form which can be collected at the Heath Fair on October 5th at the UMAC from 12pm-6pm. Please reach out to the benefits office at 918-357-6194 or [email protected] if you are unable to attend.
