Celebrating the completion of its new $42 million stadium renovation, Union Public Schools offered $1 tickets for the first home football game of the season against Westmoore.
This was the first time any major changes have been made since the stadium was built in 1976.
Union defeated Westmoore 57 to 10 with the Union side mostly sold-out. During the game, fans watched as Head Coach Kirk Fridrich enjoyed his 200th career win! Fans who stayed to the end also enjoyed a rousing fireworks show as the stadium lights turned red.
