The Union Career Connect program is seeking businesses with hiring needs to participate in a planned job fair at the UMAC, 6836 S. Mingo Road, on Friday, March 31.
“We will have room for 75 vendors,” said Career Connect advisor James Douthat. “We are asking for businesses who are currently looking for employees, really, so this could be practically anyone.”
The employment fair will run from 12 to 4 p.m. at the UMAC. The event will be open to the general public and will be free to attend.
Union invites any businesses in the Tulsa area to participate. Interested businesses are asked to use the signup genius link here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4CA9AE2DA6F4C43-uhscareer1.
The Union Career Connect Program is responsible for connecting students with their career interest while in high school. “We decided to take it one step further and not only connect our students with possible careers, but our Union community as well,” Douthat said.
