Union Repertory Theatre presents “937,” the High School’s one-act drama at 7 p.m. October 5-8 at the Union Performing Arts Center, 6636 S. Mingo Road. Tickets are $5 at the door.
A Historical drama by Don Zolidis. The story chronicles the perseverance of 937 Jewish refugees who In 1939, set sail from Hamburg, Germany on the S.S. St. Louis heading for Cuba, fleeing from the Third Reich. Onboard the ship, they struggle to find freedom, safety, and even love. A heartbreaking story of betrayal and hope in one of history's darkest times.
The play is directed by teacher Erika McGhee. Jeff Spatz is technical director.
