A number of High School students in the Career Connect program collected honors at the All Star Awards Reception hosted in the Grand hall Thursday afternoon.
These two students earned their CNA certifications through Career Connect this year and spent time working in healthcare facilities. We know the world needs more great nurses right now and are thankful they have already started down that career path. Congratulations ladies! #futurenurse #wherewillUgo
Remember these faces! You may see them around @unionschools in just a few years as teachers! Through our Future Educators and Early Childhood Educators programs, they spent time every day in classrooms across the district - serving students, helping teachers, and learning what it takes to be an educator! We future teachers!
In partnership with @nsuriverhawks Broken Arrow campus, these two future educators earned college credit for their participation in our Career Connect Future Educators program! Way to go!
These Culinary interns assisted our district chefs with not only daily food preparation, but also special events that were catered by the district! They did a great job this year and had a ton of fun!
Our CPT manufacturing interns are #careerready! For the first time in Career Connect history, this group of interns passed every one of their 10 certification tests (certifications like OSHA 30) on the first attempt! Way to go! Thank you to @aaonhvac for hosting and to Don Crawl for training our students!
Our Law Enforcement interns worked in schools throughout the district this year, assisting district security with student safety. Great job interns!
Did you visit the IT help desk this year? If so, you probably received help from one of these fantastic IT interns! As a part of their Career Connect internship, they earned a Dell certification and a Google certification, along with a myriad of other valuable IT skills! Thanks for your service, IT interns!
Congratulations to our Career Connect Automotive Interns for a successful year learning and working at the @cityoftulsa garage. Collectively, they earned 390 industry automotive certifications! Way to go interns!
