Union High School will host in-person graduation for the Class of 2022 on Saturday, May 21, at Union Tuttle Stadium. According to the registrar’s office, 1,100 are eligible to graduate. Graduation will take place at 11 a.m., with families allotted 10 tickets per graduate.
However, if Union decides to host two indoor ceremonies due to weather, an announcement will be made Friday, May 20.
Gates will open one hour prior to the ceremony on both the visitor and the home side of the stadium. Please have your tickets pulled up on your phone before arriving that morning, as well as transfer tickets to family members as needed. Make sure your phone is displaying the actual ticket on your screen and not a screen shot.
Senior rehearsal is this Friday, May 20, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Please plan on being back on the High School campus early to avoid traffic. Seniors, one final reminder, PLEASE CHECK your Canvas daily! There is important information on there in regards to parking and frequently asked graduation questions. Also remember, there are no high heel stiletto shoes allowed on the turf.
Read the Senior Newsletter for information about Commencement, appropriate attire and more.
In case of inclement weather, commencement will remain on Saturday, May 21, but will be relocated to the UMAC and split into two ceremonies – an 11 a.m. (last names A-K) and a 2 p.m. event (last names L-Z) – due to space considerations. Students will be divided between ceremonies based upon their last name. The 10-ticket limitation will still apply.
