The U.S. Census Bureau thanks Union Public Schools for being an invaluable member of the 2020 Census Community Partnership and Engagement Program. “We appreciate the efforts [the district] made in making the Partnership Program a success and helping achieve a successful 2020 Census,” said Steven D. Dillingham, Director of the U.S. Census Bureau.
The district frequently shared information about the 2020 census and the importance of being counted as it has an impact on local communities in terms of federal resources.
Superintendent Dr. Kirt Hartzler also singled out Chief Communications Officer Chris Payne, who represented Union in the effort. (Payne is pictured above.)
“This honor could not have happened without the leadership and dedication of Chris Payne,” Hartzler said. “I want to congratulate him for his work with the U.S. Census Bureau.”
