    Four Union seventh graders won Duke TIP Grand Recognition for exceptional scores in Duke University’s Talent Identification Program - the largest program of its kind in the nation.   • Visual Arts Exhibition, STEM Expo to open today

    The annual Visual Arts Exhibition - one of the highlights of the 40th annual YouthArts! Festival- kicks off tonight at 5 p.m. The exhibition runs through April 29. Union also will host its fourth annual STEM Expo, featuring the great work going on in kindergarten through 12th grade classrooms across the district. The STEM Expo event will run from 5:30 to 7:30  p.m., in the UMAC. continue reading

    Union Public Schools is considering new start and end times for the 2019-2020 School Year that impact every grade level. Parents are being surveyed about the three options under consideration. The input from this survey will assist the Board of Education in making a final decision at the May 20 Board meeting.  Please complete the survey no later than midnight Wednesday, April 24.   • Renegade Regiment to perform in 2020 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade®

    Today, Union Public Schools’ Renegade Regiment, was selected to perform in the 2020 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade®, representing the state of Oklahoma. This will mark the second Parade appearance by the band, having previously appeared in 2013. The Renegade Regiment will join the Parade to the call of “Let’s Have a Parade,” the iconic phrase that has signaled the start of every Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade since 1924. continue reading
