As one of the largest metropolitan areas in the Midwest, Tulsa - and in particular southern Tulsa where the UMAC is located - offers visitors and residents a multitude of choices when it comes to lodging, shopping or entertainment.
Lodging

Shopping
The UMAC is located near the heart of one of the busiest shopping districts in the state of Oklahoma. The largest mall in the region, Woodland Hills Mall, 71st and Memorial, is literally just a few minutes away. Woodland Hills houses more than 150 specialty shops and four department stores. More than half of the stores found here are not located anywhere else in the city. The surrounding area is full of shopping options, including clothing, home appliances, computers, electronics, furniture and more. And don't forget the UWear Store offers patrons a chance to show their school spirit with some very smart buys as well.
Dining
When it comes to dining, southern Tulsa has something for every palette. An evening at a nice restaurant followed by a game or dramatic production at the UMAC is a perfect evening for any family.
Area Attractions
There are so many things to see in the area that it would be impossible to list them all. The UMAC has provided informational links for Tulsa and Broken Arrow to start you on a journey of fun and relaxation in conjunction with a day or night event at the UMAC. There have been a number of new developments in the region such as the penguin exhibit at the Tulsa Zoo and the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks. Fine arts lovers may want to visit the Philbrook Museum or Gilcrease Museum, while sports fans may want to take in a game at a nearby golf course or enjoy a nice walk or run at Riverside Park. Young people may enjoy Big Splash in midtown Tulsa or just want to take at a nearby cineplex.
