Welcome to Union Public Schools

Each week, Head Football Coach Kirk Fridrich and host Kevin Ward of 97.1 The Sports Animal, take a look back at all the highlights and discuss the game. The shows include post game interviews with players, statistics, still pictures from the game and, from time to time, human interest stories about the team or players.

This show is produced and directed by Andy Erwin. It is produced completely in-house and uses students during the production. A crew from the Video Production Class, also taught by Erwin, helps with all aspects of the show. Students run cameras during games and during tapings of the show, as well as filling production roles as technical directors, graphics and audio engineers.

The Union Football Coach’s Show is taped in the U-View TV Studio at the high school and can be seen weekly on Tulsa’s local cable company, COX Communications.
