Golf: Union graduate to play on U.S. team

Oklahoma Christian golfer Preston Wilkins, a Union High School graduate, and teammate Logan Herbst have been selected to play on the U.S. team in the 2012 World University Golf Championship.
The 72-hole event is scheduled for July 2-7 at Ypsilon Golf Resort in Liberec, Czech Republic. The players selected for the team were the top three U.S.-born players from the NAIA and two top U.S.-born player s from the National Junior College Athletic Association. Wilkins and Herbst helped Oklahoma Christian to a second-place finish at last week's NAIA national tournament.
