Pics of students: submitted by teacher Brooke Kasbaum
Photos below show:
- Holding/exploring chicks, all got to hold them last week. We worked on our Chick Observation journals.
- Planting flowers at the front of our school in the pots. Each student planted 1 flower, we put our “natural aerators” in the pots as well (earthworms) and we watered them.
- We had students find more seeds, ladybugs (a ladybug larvae even!!), aphids for them to eat, neat leaves/sticks/weeds/plants as well as enjoying nature today outside of our school all while LEARNING!
- During spelling/word work this week we have been doing “Soil Spelling”. Where your child writes his/her spelling words in “dirt.” Thanks Miss Moyer for that cool idea!
Siblings Brooks Mueller & Bailee with our chicks at Moore!
