McAuliffe Elementary School celebrated the end of its Read to Feed community outreach projecton Friday, March 16. McAuliffe students read more than 6,000 hours in an effort to raise money to help end poverty across the world. In addition, the teachers surprised the students with a "flash mob" workout dance to encourage a spring focus of fitness for our students. Teachers ran into technical difficulties and had to repeat their performance without sound, but students had a blast anyways. Teachers were performing the "Move It" routine by Beyonce that Michelle Obama is promoting to end childhood obesity. And yes, those were funky costumes!
