Hats, gloves for McAuliffe

A local church donated hats and gloves to our kindergarten classes yesterday. Karen Vesper, one of our fabulous kindergarten teachers, organized the entire event! -- Assistant Principal Lindsay Smith
Hats were from the "Faith Prayer Shawl Ministry Group" and the gloves came from the "Faith Children's Ministry Group". The church also delivered hats to Boevers.
Also, Faith UMC has provided additional school supplies to the kindergarten classes at McAuliffe the past several years. All three projects were coordinated by Sue Ludewick.
"At first I thought that only my class would receive hats, but after speaking with the group, they decided to do all 125 kindergarteners! My mom told me that the group is already talking about hats and gloves for next year as well!
Needless to say, I’m overwhelmed by their generosity to our students!
