Pre-kindergarten students made badges during a lesson where they learned about different adults that help us after a visit from our School Resource Officer, David Coatney
PTA mom, Brandy Norris, presenting art teacher, Julie Wilcox and some of her students with “Buzz Word Junior”. The games were donated to Jarman after Mrs. Norris heard of and coordinated a coloring program with Wendy’s. Wendy’s challenged Jarman students with a project…for every student that colored a picture they provided to us and took it to Wendy’s they would get a free junior Frosty. If we had 100 or more students bring in the colored sheets, Wendy’s would donate the interactive games to all teachers in Jarman. The students’ participation was overwhelming and Wendy’s donates the games to the school to use in the classrooms for fun activities to help the children learn. Jarman and our PTA are excited to join in a learning partnership with Wendy’s and look forward to working together to help our children.
