'Green Up' and recycle

Students in Paige Bergen's class at Jarman Elementary School, 9015 E. 79th, take paper out to a recycling bin.
A "Green Team" of fifth graders that collect and deliver recycling to the bins on at Jarman Elementary School, 9015 E. 79th, had a big "haul" that took place on Thursday, December 17.
More than 50 recycling bins from inside the building will be delivered to the bins outside the school as a last effort before school is out to collect and recycle from the days prior.
"Getting into this habit with the students reminds everyone of the importance of recycling our paper goods for the benefit of our environment," said teacher Paige Bergin. Students also collect plastic bottles and cans. Jarman parents deliver the last two products to area recycling areas for us.
