The weather’s changing and you know what that means. It’s time to pull out those boots and scarves.  With this changing weather comes a change in fashion as well. Who better to ask about the up and coming cold weather fashion than Union students themselves?

To some students, fashion is an important aspect to their daily lives. Many even work at some of the favorite stores at Woodland Hills Mall. We went around the Union High School and asked the students what their favorite fall and winter items are.

The students gave us tons of variety. We asked Senior Alex Enterline who said, “ I really like my coat, its cozy and keeps me warm in the fall and winter.”  We also asked Senior Kelsey Griswold what her cold weather necessity was and she said, “I am a singer, so I like to use scarves to protect my throat, plus they come in cool patterns.”

Cold weather also tends to bring us snow, but Junior Mariah Shaw doesn’t mind at all. To protect her from the nippy weather she said, “I am looking for those knit hats with the little ball on top. I don’t have one; I want one though.”

We also got the student body to recommend their favorite stores. They told us Fossil, Francescas, Zumiez, Forever 21, and Sun & Ski Sports.  Until next time, stay warm and have a happy and safe holiday season!
