Grove art

November 24, 2006

Grove fifth grader Freddy Rosas puts some finishing touches on his piece entitled "Invisible Sky Rider." The piece along with other Grove artwork was showcased at a Union Board of Education meeting in November. "At first I thought about a boat," wrote Rosas about his piece. "But then I saw I had all the materials to make a ship. A person could use it to go to the mountains or to see all 50 states. Victoria Petit-Homme helped me with the papier mache. I enjoyed all the steps - construction,m papier mache and painting. His art teacher is Kren Bennett
