Grove Red Ribbon Week

During Red Ribbon Week, Grove Elementary School, 10202 E. 62nd, will implement the following activities:
During Red Ribbon Week, Grove will implement the following activities:
- Monday-Crazy Hat Day (Put a Cap on Drugs)
- Tuesday- PJ Day (Follow Dreams Don’t Do Drugs)
- Wednesday- Crazy Sock Day (Sock It to Drugs)
- Thursday- College Jersey/College Shirt Day (Don’t Let Drugs Get in the Way of Goals)
- On Monday, each student will also receive a Red Ribbon and sticker.
During the week, each class will sign a pledge to be drug free. These pledges will be posted in the Grove hallways. For each student signing this pledge, the Jim Thorpe Association will provide certificates and a coupon for a free low fat ice cream cone at McDonalds. These certificates and coupons will arrive at Grove in March.
