Fire safety

Andersen second grade students have been learning about fire safety during Fire Safety Week. After studying about the moon and sun in reading, students wrote cartoons with Sparky and the Space Dogs. Then, Judy Cairl’s second graders played “Shoot for the Moon” with their Book Buddies from Michelle Naylor’s fifth grade class. During the game, Sparky and the Space Dogs traveled to the moon. While they were on their journey Sparky needed students to be fire smart by keeping Earth safe. What a great week!
