Constitutional Convention

The Government students at the Union Eighth Grade Center are preparing for the 12th annual re-enactment of the Constitutional Convention, which will be held Tuesday, November 12.
All 8th grade Government students will dress up as delegates to the 1787 convention. Students are encouraged to use inexpensive ideas for their costumes – using clothing they already have and/or making many of their accessories using common and inexpensive household items.
A flyer was sent home with students last week; however, parents are welcome to contact the school or their child’s government teacher if additional information is needed.
