Oklahoma schools receive robotics grants
Oct 27, 2012 (The Oklahoman - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The state Board of Education approved nearly $70,000 in grants to school robotics programs statewide during its meeting Thursday.
$5,000 winners --Adair High School.
--Chickasha High School.
--Fort Gibson High School.
--Oologah Middle School and High School.
--Pryor High School.
$1,000 winners --Deer Creek High School.
--Edmond Memorial High School.
--Grove High School.
--Jenks High School.
--Lawton MacArthur High School.
--Mustang High School.
--Tulsa Union High School.
$500 winner --Sperry High School.
FIRST Tech Challenge $2,500 winners --Arnett High School.
--Macomb Public Schools.
--Meeker High School.
--Okarche High School.
--Oklahoma City John Marshall Mid-High School.
--Owasso Senior High School.
--Owasso Mid-High School.
--Tulsa Booker T. Washington High School.
Other winners --Newcastle High School: $2,440.
