Band takes third at OBA

Union Band Community,
Congrats to the Regiment for earning the Bronze Medal and 3rd place in Class 6A at OBA, as well as earning another round of Superior (1) Ratings at OSSAA. Not only did we achieve enormous amounts in our rehearsals this week, but the students also had numerous fantastic performances. And all this within 7 days of returning from St. Louis!
And speaking of 7.....that's the number of rehearsal days we have left before getting on the bus to head to Nationals. If there are more important rehearsals than these next 7 days-worth, I'm not sure when they would be. All of your efforts and assistance in getting every student to every rehearsal is noted and greatly appreciated.
Lastly, good luck to all band members auditioning for district/state band this next weekend. Hopefully all of your hard work and practice will be rewarded. Relax and do your absolute best! Remember, everyone listening/adjudicating your audition has high hopes for you to put your best foot forward. Enter the room with confidence, and show them what you can do.

Tuesday, Oct. 30 – 7am Rehearsal & Wind Sectional
Wednesday, Oct. 31 – 7am Rehearsal
Thursday, Nov. 1 – 7am Rehearsal & 4-8pm Evening Rehearsal – WEAR BLACK/WHITE
Friday, Nov. 2 - NO SCHOOL - 8am-Noon Rehearsal & Home Game (Senior Night) - 6pm Call (No dinner served tonight) – WEAR SHOW SHIRT
Saturday, Nov 3 - HS NBDA Auditions at Broken Arrow HS - No bus transportation for this event - arrive at BA on your own in time for the draw (I think this is at 8am, but I'm confirming) and depart when your auditions are completed
