Tip of the Week

Spring TCC concurrent enrollment registration packets are available in the CCC. Students need to sign up to see Mrs. Johnson when their packets are complete. She will begin calling students to the CCC to finalize the first step of their enrollment beginning November 1.

ACT News

Chad Cargill ACT Preparation is this Tuesday, October 23. The workshop will be held from 4:30-7:30 in the Grand Hall and focuses on specific strategies for specific types of questions. Students may register at the door, but the cost will increase to $40.

The October ACT is this Saturday, October 27. Please remind students that they will need to bring their admission ticket that has their picture on it and a valid picture ID (a Union school ID is fine). They will be turned away if they do not have these two items.

Scholarship of the Week

FIRE: Foundation for Individual Rights in Education
Deadline: November 25, 2012
Up to $10,000 in scholarships awarded. High school juniors and seniors for the 2012-2013 school year are eligible to participate in FIRE's essay contest. To enter, students must submit an essay between 800 and 1,000 words on the provided topic.

University Visits University visits are limited to juniors and seniors only. Students can sign up in advance for a pass to be delivered to them or teachers can send students at their discretion.
