Boevers students receive book, library card

Maria Weldon, children's librarian from Martin Regional Library, (shown below) vistited second graders at Boevers Elementary Monday, October 15, and gave them their first library card. Students also received a new book, Amanda & Her Alligator.
The book donation was offered through the Books to Treasure program via the sponsorship of the Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation, which has provided a book every year for the past 10 years to second graders in the Tulsa area. This year’s book is Mo Willem’s “Amanda’s Alligator”. Mr. Willems will be appearing at the Central Library on November 16.
