Just wanted to thank both Rosa Parks Principal Karen and Community Schools Coordinator Erin Velez for everything you're doing to help support Global Gardens and the new Family Food Farm. It's going so great. We've had close to 100 unique participants and more than 230 volunteer hours put in by Rosa Parks families in such a short time. We're also super thankful to have the support of the site team and the TACSI funding. The spot last night on the news was really fun, I've linked it below so you can watch it or pass it on. Thanks so much!

Rosa Parks Elementary students dig deep with garden project
TULSA - East Tulsa students have been developing a green thumb outside their classrooms this fall.
Rosa Parks Elementary students are contributing to the Global Gardens Food Farm Project, an initiative aiming to provide food to families.
The students and parents planted fruit-bearing trees Tuesday, which might take years before producing fruit. But the families are still excited and committed to the end, said Global Garden Project leader Maggie Regan.
"I kind of said 'you know, that's going to take a few years' and I loved that there was no hesitation from our families," Regan said. "They were invested already."
