All Rosa Parks students in grades three, four, and five took a field trip to the Cascia Hall Performing Arts Center to see a performance of the Complexions Contemporary Ballet Friday, September 21.
Complexions was brought to Tulsa by Choregus Productions. "They have invited our students for the past two or three years. They told us that we could bring as many Rosa Parks students as we wanted," music teacher Charles Johnston said. "I'm positive that they invite our school first because our students have always been the best behaved of any of the students there."
"Each year the students have been transfixed by these dance performances. I think this is the second time we've seen Complexions. You may see an example of the type of dancing that Complexions does on the YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTG5TOadA5c .," he said.
