Update: Union Varsity Cheer Ties For FIrst Place with Two Other Teams
Union Varsity Cheer competed against 18 teams in the Class 6A Division at the OSSAA State Cheerleading Competition on Saturday, September 22, in Stillwater, OK. A three-way tie for First Place occurred between Union, Norman North and Edmond North. After the officials evaluated how to break the tie based on individual judges scores, Union Varsity placed third. The Union 8th Grade, 9th Grade and Junior Varsity Cheer squads attended in support of the Varsity girls in addition to several members of the Union Varsity football team and Tee Pee Crew. The team is coached by Stacey Beams and Cat
